SET Stange Energietechnik GmbH has passed cold tests for 2 further German Defence Forces projects.
Project Zeus with Camino 25DSIMIL was successfully started by the German Defence Forces, the Bundeswehr, at Technical Centre 41 (WTD Wehrtechnische Dienststelle 41).
Project GVTC with Camino 20DSTMIL was tested by the WTD in Unterlüss.
A cold test represents an extreme stress situation for both human beings and material. The generator should start in 3-8 attempts at -32°C and reliably take control of the mains power supply.
This is not always successful, as different motor constructions are involved.
